Precise media planning and messaging to deliver graduate placements and two-year apprenticeships
The challenge
RPC is a commercial law firm, with over 125 partners, headquartered in the City of London. It also has offices in Bristol, Hong Kong and Singapore.
With a strong junior development focus, they have an annual need to recruit graduates to apply for their summer scheme of 2 x 2 week placements. They also recruit solicitor apprentices onto their Level 7 scheme which lasts for 2 years.
Their focus has always been on attracting high calibre, engaged candidates based on their employment proposition of valuing character over conformity, and the unique over the uniform.
The solution
We have had to carefully intertwine our leading-edge, data-led solutions into a client’s somewhat traditional methods of managing the candidate experience and journey!
We have planned and bought in excess of 20 media options over the years, always focusing on their performance and the quality of the applications in close partnership with the client. Assets are produced by us, working closely with RPC’s branding team to create consistent and compelling messaging.
Monthly reports are produced, sent, discussed and acted upon, so that we constantly promote the best performing media and assets.
The results
RPC have received well over 600 applications each year for the graduate summer schemes, at a reduced cost per click whilst consistently increasing brand awareness.
